Respite Services:

A trained volunteer or para-professional stays with your loved one and take over your care giving role, whether for several hours or several days. These brief reprieves from a care giving situation are healthy for the caregiver and for the care recipient…a change of daily routine for both. Respite care may include the following services in accordance with instructions from the regular caregiver:​

• Assistance with toileting 

• Assistance with dressing

• Assistance with meal preparation

• Reminder to take medication if necessary

• Reading to client

• Calling for help and assistance in any unusual situation by contacting the regular caregiver, the client’s physician or an appropriate agency

Personal Care Services:

Services which substitute for the bodily activities of daily living which and individual would normally provide for himself/herself. Personal Care Services may include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following services provided for the client:

• Bathing 

• Dressing

• Feeding

• Transferring

• Care of teeth, skin, hair, and/or nails

• Light meal preparation

• Toileting

• Ambulation

• Reminder to take medication if necessary

Companionship Services:

From daily telephone calls from a “Buddy” to daily “Friendly” visitor, to round the clock paid companions. Some of our companionship services are as follows:

Home Helper Services:
